Zymmetry Announces the Appointment of Edgar Tung as CEO

 

HONG KONG, January 28, 2008 - The Zymmetry Group, a leading provider of technology solutions for the soft goods industry, announced today the appointment of Mr. Edgar Tung as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2008. 

 

Former CEO Mr. Vincent Chan is promoted to Vice Chairman of the Group, and will continue to direct Zymmetry from the board level and explore synergies and business development opportunities in Mainland China.

 

Mr. Steven Walton, Chairman of the Zymmetry Group, thanked Vincent for establishing Zymmetry with a solid business foundation, a portfolio of exciting award winning products and a respected international client base. “We are confident that 2008 will prove to be an extremely exciting year for the Group with a number of substantial ‘events’ in the pipeline”, said Mr. Walton.

Mr. Tung has served as the Chief Operating Officer for the Zymmetry Group for the past six months and has brought with him a wealth of apparel experience.  Most recently, Edgar was Director of Sales at Esquel Group and had led Esquel's sales effort in various markets including the United States, Japan, Korea and Greater China.  Edgar obtained his Master of Business Administration degree from the Harvard Business School and his Bachelor of Engineering Degree from Imperial College, London.
